During our PGY3 year, we rotate through the medicine consult service. This rotation focuses primarily on pre and post-operative evaluation and management. We spend time in the hospital helping our colleagues from other specialties with medically complicated patients. We also spend a few days a week performing pre-anesthesia medical exams in our outpatient clinic. This rotation allows for a lot of autonomy, but certainly allows some time for fun. Here is our med consults team learning about the occupational therapy tools in our rehabilitation center. I never knew Candace was such a wild driver. 🙂
Or that Dr. Bundrick was such a terrible back seat driver...I'm not sure he knows where he is going...
And, it looks like Dan had a long day at the hospital. I guess he should have called our taxi service to give him a free ride home! Or maybe an Uber or Lyft, which are my go-tos when I need to get around Rochester quickly.
